When holding a part time employment position, an employee must continue to actively seek full time employment according to ORS 657.155(1)(c) if the employee wishes to continue to receive unemployment benefits during that time period.

Employee had been collected unemployment benefits since his employment had terminated. Once Employee found part time work, the Employee was denied unemployment benefits. The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) found against the Employee at a review hearing because during the time employee had part time employment, he did not seek full time employment outside of the job he was holding on a part time basis. The Employment Appeals Board reviewed the decision of the ALJ and affirmed the opinion of the ALJ. The Court held that there was no basis presented to change the ruling of the ALJ or the EAB. Affirmed.
