Goff appealed a judgment of the Disciplinary Board that suspended him from the practice of law for 18 months and ordered him to pay restitution. Goff was accused by the State Bar Association of 18 violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct. The Supreme Court affirmed the judgment in regard to 15 violations because the record clearly and convincingly demonstrated that Goff had committed the violations. The Court dismissed 3 allegations because they were not been proven by clear and convincing evidence; the restitution was based on these violations. Thus, the Court affirmed Goff's 18 month suspension from the practice of law.
