Father appealed the trial court's determination to take jurisdiction over Child. The trial court based jurisdiction on facts Father admitted in court. On appeal, Father assigned error to the trial court's assertion of jurisdiction and the refusal to allow Father to withdraw his admission. that the facts Father admitted to were not sufficient to establish jurisdiction. The Court held that Father's admision that he was incarcerated and unavailable to care for Child was sufficient basis for the trial court to take jurisdiction. Affirmed.
