Defendant appealed a judgment of conviction for impeding traffic. Defendant argued that there was insufficient evidence to convict him of the offense. An officer witnessed Defendant's vehicle stop in the right hand lane with its left turn signal on. There were two vehicles in the left lane when Defendant's vehicle began to cut in front of the first vehicle. The two vehicles in the left lane had to slow down due to the Defendant's actions as well as vehicles coming in the opposite direction. The Court held that a rational trier of fact could determine that Defendant impeded the normal, reasonable movement of traffic. Affirmed.
