Tenant appealed from a judgment granting restitution of possession of the premises to Landlord under ORS 105.115. Tenant assigned error to the trial court's denial of his motion for judgment on the pleadings and determination that Landlord was entitled to possession of the premises. On appeal, Tenant argued that granting possession was improper because the notice provided by Landlord did not include the requisite veterans' information pursuant to ORS 408.515. Landlord argued that, although the information was not included in the notice, it was attached to the notice and therefore sufficient. “A notice that fails to comply with statutory requirements for its contents is invalid.” See Hickey v. Scott, 370 Or 97 (2022). The Court held that the requisite information must be included in the notice as opposed to attached to the notice. Reversed.
